(Oral) By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing charge sheet dated 08.03.2016 (P-14). And further for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release retiral benefits i.e. gratuity, leave encashment and arrears of pension, salary as well as other benefits after fixation of pay in new pay scale w.e.f. 01.01.2006 along with interest @ 18% per annum. 2.

At the very initiation of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that charge sheet dated 08.03.2016 (P-14) has already been SONIKA 2018.08.24 14:58 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No.6807 OF 2016 --2-- withdrawn/dropped by the respondents and the necessary benefits accrued on the basis of withdrawal of aforesaid charge sheet have already been paid but without interest. She further submits that an order with regard to declining of interest has also been passed by the respondents, which she intends to challenge and necessary permission be granted in this regard. 3.

Accordingly, instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous but with liberty as prayed for.
