Mr. Ashok Gupta, Advocate, for the petitioner Mr. Nikhil Chopra, Addl.A.G., Punjab.

***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Admittedly petitioner has completed his tenure and extended tenure as well. Now he has retired from service. His only apprehension is that this entire period of service may not be counted for the purpose of retiral benefits.

Learned State counsel, however, on instructions from Vikram Batish, Sr. Assistant, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab and submits that necessary benefits have already been granted to the petitioner. In view of the above, no cause of action survives in this case. Petition is hereby rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
