Petitioners, 121 in number, have preferred this petition seeking a direction for allotment of commercial plots to them in the Auto Market, Sirsa, as per the proposal (Annexure P-8) for allotment of 243 plots. The proposal though formulated on 12.11.2007 was unfortunately not given effect to as the Municipal Council, Sirsa had sent the same for approval of the State Government whereupon no decision was taken for a long. Finally with the intervention of this Court, the State Government has taken the decision and as per learned State counsel the proposal submitted by Municipal Council, Sirsa for sanction of 243 booths in Auto Market, Sirsa Meenu 2017.02.09 10:33 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

CWP-7690-2015 -2has been duly approved and conveyed to the Deputy Commissioner as well as Municipal Council, Sirsa.

In this view of the matter, we find no impediment against implementation of the proposal by the Municipal Council, Sirsa. Let the allotments be made as early as possible but not later than three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, however subject to eligibility of the allottees or such other conditions as may be permissible in law.

It is further directed that while determining the eligibility, the exercise undertaken earlier shall be kept in view. Disposed of.
