(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioners states that during the pendency of the present writ petition, an application for stay of pre-deposit filed in the appeal before the Customs, Excise & Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (in short 'the CESTAT'), has been decided on 11th August, 2015. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that in such a situation, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such. However, liberty be granted to the petitioners to challenge the order dated 11th August, 2015, passed by the CESTAT declining the application for stay of pre-deposit. 3.
Disposed of as infructuous. However, it shall be open to the petitioners to challenge the aforesaid order passed by the CESTAT on the application for stay of pre-deposit, in accordance with law.
