In the present writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner who was working on the post of Clerk-cum-Computer Operator, should be allowed to continue in service. 2.
In reply to the said claim, the respondents have mentioned that the petitioner was engaged in a specific project and the said project had come to an end and thereafter, all the employees, who were working in the said project, have already been relieved hence, the prayer of the petitioner that he should be allowed to continue in service, cannot be accepted. 3.

Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner was appointed in a particular project and the said project had already come to an end and all the HARSHA RANI 2024.03.06 17:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-28039-2017 2024:PHHC:030516 employees including the petitioner have been relieved, no direction can be given to the respondents to continue the service of the petitioner. 5.
Once the main project has come to an end, it cannot be said that the petitioner should be allowed to continue in service. 6.
It is not the case that the employees junior to the petitioner have been allowed to continue or the post against which the petitioner was working, still exist. In the absence of any work in the project, the petitioner cannot say that he should be allowed to continue in service without there being any work to be performed to the post.

Keeping in view the above, no ground is made out for any interference by this Court in the present case. 8.
Dismissed.
