The prayer made by the petitioner in the present petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents for quashing the impugned Wardbandi 2018 issued under Section 10-A (read with Section 10) of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1964.

In our opinion, the issue being small, the Authority should pass a speaking order, in one way or the other, in accordance with law, if within a week the petitioners file representation, and to decide the same within a period of three weeks thereafter.
