The petitioner is a candidate for the election as Member of Nagar Panchayat, Narot Jaimal Singh. The election programme was notified and December 06, 2017 was the last date for filing nomination. Before that, the voter list was statedly finalised on November 28, 2017. The petitioner, with open eyes, filed her nomination and is contesting the elections. Now she seeks a direction that the objections filed against the voter list on November 27, 2017 are still pending and have not been decided. In our considered view once the election process has started on the basis of final voter list, such list cannot be altered at this juncture. The writ petition is, wholly, misconceived.
