Petitioner herein retired from service on 31.05.2018 on attaining the age of superannuation. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that there was no disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner, but his retiral benefits on account of gratuity, general provident fund, leave encashment etc. have not been released to him and most of the payments were approved for release by the competent authority as far as back in June 2018, but still payment has not been released.
