(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for quashing order dated 11.07.2022 (Annexure P-2), whereby petitioner has been summoned through bailable warrants in case FIR No.0006 dated 12.01.2021 registered under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Sirhali, District Tarn Taran.

According to the prosecution, on 12.01.2021 police party recovered 27 gms of heroin from the dashboard of the car bearing registration No.PB-29-AD-3117.

Petitioner was granted bail. However, on 11.07.2022 petitioner did not appear before the trial Court. As a result of which he has been summoned through bailable warrants vide impugned order. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the RAVINDER SINGH 2022.09.15 16:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court within a week. In case, petitioner files application for bail, the trial Court will decide the same on the same date when the application is filed.
