(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C., is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.131 dated 22.08.2020 registered under Sections 307, 120-B IPC, Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, Section 21 of the NDPS Act, 1985, Section 3/4 of Indian Passport Act, 1920 and Section 14 of Foreigners Act, 1946 (Section 29 of the NDPS Act, added later on) at Police Station Khalra, District Tarn Taran. Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition.

However, considering the fact that the petitioner is behind the bars since 01.09.2020 and out of 30 prosecution witnesses, only 15 PWs have been examined and all the prosecution witnesses are official witnesses, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, is directed to MOHD YAKUB 2025.02.19 17:01 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh
CRM-M No.36588 of 2024 ensure that all the prosecution witnesses shall appear before the learned trial Court on the next date of hearing, for recording their depositions.
