RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioners have approached this Court praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the orders dated 26.04.2012, Annexure P-1, passed by respondent No.2 and order dated 11.02.2013, Annexure P-2, passed by respondent No.1 being illegal, erroneous and against the provisions of Northern Indian Canal and Drainage Act, 1973. Learned State counsel, on instructions, has submitted that grievance of the petitioners has been redressed, as prayed for, as size of the outlet has already been increased and hence the present petition be disposed of as infructuous.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of as grievance of the petitioners is already redressed. However, petitioners would be at liberty to pursue their remedies in case any further cause of action accrues to them. December 21, 2023 ( RAJESH BHARDWAJ ) meenuss JUDGE 1.
