This case was called twice, however, no one has caused appearance on behalf of the petitioner. On the other hand, learned State counsel has filed affidavit of the Senior Superintendent of Police, District Ferozepur, today, in the Court, in deference to the directions issued by this Court on 29.4.2024. The same is taken on record. 2.

Order dated 29.4.2024, reads as under:- "This Court fails to comprehend the manner in which, despite there being due information with regard to the unnatural death of a person, no FIR has been registered, despite the specific guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. DALBIR SINGH TIWANA 2024.05.23 23:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Let the Senior Superintendent of Police concerned, shall file his personal affidavit, as to why there is violation of the guidelines (supra).

The study survey of the reply (supra), makes revelation that now FIR No. 79 dated 17.5.2024, under Section 306 IPC, has been registered at Police Station Sadar, Ferozepur, District Ferozepur, on the representation made by the present petitioner on dated 11.5.2022. 4.

Considering the fact that two persons have committed suicide, it is expected that the investigation in the present FIR, may be conducted through an SIT. Therefore, the Senior Superintendent of Police concerned is directed to constitute a SIT, headed by a senior officer of the district, for the completion of the investigation in the FIR (supra). 5.

Since, FIR (supra), has now been registered, no further direction is called for, at this stage.

Disposed of accordingly.
