Present writ petition is for grant of family pension to the petitioner from the date of her husband's death with interest. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner's husband died on 14.09.2016 and she is entitled for family pension, but she has not been paid the same despite issuance of legal notice dated 28.02.2018 (Annexure P2). Subsequently, the respondents had sought certain additional information and the same has also been supplied to them vide reply dated 28.05.2018 (Annexure P4), but still no action has been taken. In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondents to look into and decide legal notice dated 28.02.2018 (Annexure P2) and reply dated 28.05.2018 (Annexure P4), expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
