By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to count the entire daily wage services of the petitioner rendered before regularization as qualifying service for the purposes of pensionary/retiral benefits and furthermore he be held entitled to receive pensionary benefits as per old GPF scheme which was applicable to employees recruited in Punjab Government Service prior to 01.01.2004, the case being squarely covered by the decision dated 31.08.2010 passed by Division Bench of this Court in CWP No. 2371 of 2010, titled as Harbans Lal v. State of Punjab (P-3).

Instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent(s) to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in his legal notice dated 26.05.2017 (Annexure P-10) and to decide the same in accordance with rules, regulations and instructions issued by Govt. from time to time as well as in the light of CWP No. 2371 of 2010, titled as "Harbans Lal v. State of Punjab", by passing a speaking order, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

However, if the petitioner still feel aggrieved against the order passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
