Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has received all the retiral benefits. However, no amount has been paid towards the interest on the delayed payment.

In these circumstances, the petitioner shall move a representation to the competent authority, who will examine the case in the light of judgments rendered in A.S. Randhawa v. State of Punjab, 1997(3) S.C.T. 468 and The Financial Commissioner, Haryana v. Hasan Singh Kanwar, 2010(1) SLR 788 and pass an appropriate order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such a representation.

Disposed of in the above terms.
