The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer for quashing the impugned order dated 17.08.2020 (Annexure P-8) as well as for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate grounds as Peon/Class IV employee.

Today, the present case was called twice, but none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Even on the last two dates of hearing, i.e., 20.02.2024 and 30.01.2025, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
