(Oral)  (1) The petitioner filed her nomination for election to the post of Member of Panchayat Block Samiti from Ward No.6 Bhattu Kalan. Her nomination has been rejected on the ground that she submitted her Middle Examination certificate attested by Notary and not attested by a Gazetted Officer. The aggrieved petitioner contends that there is no requirement under the Statute or the Rules that the documents should be attested by the Gazetted Officer.

(2) The elections are scheduled to be held on 17.01.2016. (3) It is too late at this stage to call upon the respondents to adjudicate the issue raised by the petitioner moreso when she has got the efficacious alternative remedy to file the election petition.

        keeping in view all the attending circumstances, the Election Tribunal is directed to ensure that the election petition, if so filed, is decided within six months.
