**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner has preferred this petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to make payments of the petitioner for the work done by him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a contractor. He was allocated various development works in the area of Municipal Committee, Nuh by the respondents. Petitioner has already completed the work assignments within time. Respondents have duly verified the completed work assignments and respondents have also audited and sanctioned the claim of the petitioner and even issued cheque for making payment of the dues of the petitioner. At that time respondent No.3 was under suspension. On reinstatement, respondent No.3 got the payment stopped for the reasons best known to her. Petitioner has already preferred representations dated 12.12.2020 and 24.08.2021 before respondent No.4 which are still pending.

On asking of the Court, Sh. Vivek Chauhan, Addl AG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.1. In view of nature of order which this Court proposes to pass, there is no necessity of serving respondents No.2 to 6 or calling upon any response from the respondents as no order prejudicial to the interest of any party is being passed. Since the representations sent by the petitioner are pending before respondent No.4, therefore, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to decide the representations (Annexure P-9 and P-10) of the petitioner dated 12.12.2020 and 24.08.2021 in accordance with law preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. If respondent No.4 comes to the conclusion that the petitioner firm is entitled for the amount in question then the same be paid forthwith along with interest @ 6% per annum for the delayed payment from the date of amount became due within a time specified hereinabove.
