Petitioner seeks a direction to respondents to issue him passport which has not been issued so far. According to counsel, he has applied for the fresh passport on 31.07.2018. However, till date same has not been issued.

He submits that a decision on the legal notice, Annexure P-3 served by the petitioner on the department shall be decided at the earliest, in any case not later than one month. In view of statement made by him, present petition is disposed of.
