Petitioner is working as a Fitter/Black Smith Grade I on work charge basis since 26.9.1986 (Annexure P-1)in the erstwhile Punjab State Electricity Board, now Punjab State Power Corporation Limited. He is seeking a mandamus for regularization of his services w.e.f. 1.1.1995 with all consequential benefits.

After hearing counsel for the petitioner no case for issuing mandamus is made out. No policy has been placed on record or any reference made on the basis of which the services of the petitioner would be liable to be regularized. That apart, claim has been made after more than 20 years.

Dismissed.
