On 21.11.2024 as well as on 19.03.2025, respondent No.1 remained unrepresented.

The petitioner herein is the wife of respondent No.1. The Family Court has assessed ₹20,000/- as interim maintenance payable to the wife and her two minor daughters who are residing with their mother. Both the daughters are school going.

The learned counsel representing the petitioner contends that the amount of interim maintenance is inadequate as respondent No.1 is working as Subedar in the Indian Army and his monthly carry home salary is ₹79,000/- to ₹80,000/- as admitted by him while appearing in evidence, whereas his gross salary is ₹97,000/- to ₹98,000/- per month. His mother is also getting pension @ ₹19,000/- per month.

As per the observation made by the Family Court, respondent DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2025.03.25 10:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document No.1 is also the owner of agricultural land measuring 65 bighas.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the impugned order is modified by giving directions to respondent No.1 to pay an amount of ₹40,000/- as maintenance pendente lite to the petitioner and her two minor daughters with effect from the date of filing of the application i.e. 28.07.2020, till the decision of the main case. 6.
With the observations made above, the present revision petition is disposed of.

The miscellaneous application(s) pending, if any, shall stand disposed of.
