IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH **** CWP No.19900 of 2022 Date of Decision:07.09.2022 Chand Kishore .....Petitioner Vs.

State of Haryana and another .....Respondents CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI Present:- Mr. Anurag Goyal, Advocate for the petitioner. **** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J.

In the present petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that on two of the stations which were opted by the petitioner, namely, Government High School, Harsana Kalan, District Sonepat (3617) and Government High School Sitawali, District Sonepat (3537), two employees who were to retire within a period of next seven days of the posting, were posted so as to deny the claim of the petitioner and other similarly situated employees for being posted on those stations.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as of now, two candidates who were posted on the above-mentioned schools have already retired from service and the same posts are lying vacant and the petitioner intends to approach the respondents to consider his claim for posting at the above-mentioned two stations, which are lying vacant and the respondents may kindly be directed to decide the said claim expeditiously so that the petitioner is not caused any prejudice as there is no provision of third transfer drive to be undertaken by the respondents. Notice of motion.
