The petitioner, without availing the efficacious alternative statutory remedy available under law, has straightaway knocked on the doors of this Court by filing the present writ petition seeking issuance of directions to the respondents for furnishing the desired information under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

Consequently, the present writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to avail the appropriate alternative statutory remedies for redressal of his grievance, in accordance with law.
