Prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to transfer the investigation of the case FIR No.20 dated 19.10.2022, under Sections 420, 465, 466, 468, 471, 120-B of IPC 1860 and Section 7 of PC, Act 1988, registered at Police Station Vigilance Bureau District Amritsar (Annexure P-1).

Learned State counsel refers to paras No.7 and 8 of the status report dated 12.08.2025 and submits that pursuant to direction passed by this Court on 10.07.2025 as per which, the Investigating Officer after having not found the said three accused at their houses and other hide-outs had initiated proceedings for declaring them as proclaimed offenders for which nonbailable warrants of their arrest have been obtained from the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amritsar returnable on 22.09.2025 and KUSUM 2025.08.28 11:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC Chandigarh

CRM-M-34257-2025 regarding the others, investigation report/challan and supplementary investigation report/challan has been submitted in the Court of Special Judge, Amritsar on 15.12.2022 and 06.08.2025 respectively. A total 20 prosecution witnesses have been cited in the said investigation report/challan. The matter is now listed for framing of charges. 3.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to press the present petition any further.
