Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., a prayer is made for quashing of FIR No.81 dated 22.10.2018, under Sections 307, 324, 323, 148, 149 of the IPC, read with Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, registered at P.S. Tibber, District Gurdaspur. 2.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner informs this Court that the instant petition has become infructuous, inasmuch as, the petitioner has already been acquitted in the present FIR on 21.02.2024. 3.
On account of the supervening events, the instant petition is dismissed, as becoming infructuous.
