*** PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) The petitioner has approached this Court by way of present petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for release on emergency parole. He relies upon the application appended to the writ petition as Annexure P-1. The said application is undated. On 06.09.2022 learned State counsel sought time to ascertain as to whether such application has been moved or not. Today, Mr. Sumit Jain, Additional Advocate General, Haryana on instructions from the Superintendent District Jail, Sonepat submits that no such application has been filed till date.

In view of the aforesaid facts, no ground to interfere while exercising jurisdiction under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is made out. However, keeping in view the nature of prayer of the petitioner, respondent No.5-Superintendent District Jail, Sonipat is directed to consider the writ petition as an application of the petitioner and
