The alleged detenues, whose names have been mentioned in Para No.4 of the petition, are stated to be working in a Brick Kiln under the name and style 'Batha Marka Shivji' situated in the area of Village Khangshala, Police Station Khangshala, Tehsil Jhajjar, District Jhajjar (Haryana) and they are alleged to be illegally detained by respondent Nos.4 to 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that the petitioner has also moved representation dated 25.11.2020 (Annexure P-1) to the District Magistrate, Jhajjar (Haryana), however, no action has been taken to release the detenues. The District Magistrate of the District is the competent authority as per Chapter-IV of Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976 to deal with such like matters. The petitioner, therefore, is relegated to avail the remedy before the District Magistrate concerned. The District Magistrate, Jhajjar (Haryana) is also directed to dispose off the representation dated 25.11.2020 (Annexure P-1) forthwith in accordance with law.
