(Oral) The petitioners have laid challenge to the orders dated 16.11.2012, 06.05.2014 and 16.02.2016 passed by the Assistant Collector, 1st Grade, Appellate Authority and the Revisional Authority, respectively, under the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961, as applicable to the State of Haryana. Vide these orders, the petitioners were permitted to raise the title dispute under Section 7(2) of the 1961 Act in the eviction petitions filed by the Gram Panchayat and the said dispute has been answered against the petitioners, thereby declaring that the subject land vests in the Gram Panchayat for all intents and purposes by virtue of Section 2(g) of the 1961 Act read with the provisions contained in the East Punjab Holdings (Consolidation and Fragmentation) Act, 1948.

CWP No.7187 of 2016 [2] This Court vide a detailed reasoned order dated 21.04.2016 dismissed the writ petitions filed by co-villagers of the petitioners against the very same orders, i.e., CWP No.7042 of 2016 (Bhag Singh versus State of Haryana and others). For the reasons assigned in the order dated 21.04.2016 in Bhag Singh's case (supra), this writ petition is also dismissed.
