The grievance of the petitioners in the instant writ petition was against non-consideration of their application for grant of change of land use permission.

The competent authority has now passed an order dated 12.01.2018 whereby the request of the petitioners to grant change of land use permission under the old policy has not been accepted and they have been advised to submit a fresh application in accordance with the new policy guidelines.

The writ petition is, thus, rendered infructuous and is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioners either to challenge the above stated order dated 12.01.2018 and/or to submit their application as per the new policy guidelines.
