The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents to comply with the provisions of the Punjab Gau Sewa Commission Act, 2014 and notification dated 12.10.2020 known as Punjab Municipal and Municipal (Registration, Proper control of stray animals and compensation to the victim of animal attack) Bye-Laws, 2020 and to release the financial assistance as approved by respondent No.5 vide its resolution dated 30.08.2007, later on modified vide resolution dated 05.05.2016 for running the cattle sheds and to release such financial assistance as being approved and paid to other Gaushalas. 2.
