G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioner seeks the amount of gratuity which has been withheld by the respondent no. 3-Society.

Admittedly, the petitioner has an alternative and efficacious remedy to approach the Controlling Authority under the provisions of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972.

Faced with the situation, counsel does not press the present petition with liberty to approach the said authority. Ordered accordingly.
