**** MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) Petitioner has approached this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C., with a prayer that investigation in case FIR No. 340, dated 09.10.2020, lodged under Sections 148, 149, 302, 307, 323, 341, 120-B IPC and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station Rai, District Sonipat, be handed over to some independent agency for fair and impartial investigation, as no steps have been taken subsequent to the registration of the FIR in question by the investigating agency to arrest the accused, much less, to record even the statements of the eye-witnesses. Learned State counsel has invited the attention of this Court to the status report dated 18.01.2021, filed by way of affidavit of Nikita Khattar, IPS, Asstt. Superintendent of Police, Sonipat, on behalf of respondents No.1 to 5, in compliance to the order dated 02.12.2020 of this Court and submitted that the final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. stands presented in the case in hand. In the circumstances, no ground to invoke the inherent jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is made out.

Petition stands dismissed.
