**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) The case has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing.
Petitioner seeks issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant adequate compensation along with interest to the petitioner on account of amputation of his both arms due to electric shocks. Petitioner suffered electric shocks due to negligence on the part of the respondents in performing their duties without taking proper care and caution. On 19.01.2020, the petitioner was working in his fields and high voltage electric wires were passing through his fields. from one of iron pole installed in the fields when he came into contact with the support pole. DDR of the incident was recorded on 27.01.2020. Petitioner was medically examined. Petitioner got 96% permanent disability.
Precisely for the claim in question, the petitioner has moved legal notice/representation dated 30.07.2020 to the respondents.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Vivek Chauhan, Addl., A.G., Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the State. In view of nature of order which this Court proposes to pass, there is no necessity of calling upon response from the respondents at this stage, as no order prejudicial to the interest of any party is being passed.
This petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice/representation dated 30.07.2020 of the petitioner in accordance with law preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
