(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for staying the operation and implementation of the order dated 29.04.2026 (Annexure P-5) passed by the learned District Collector, Ambala and the order dated 25.07.2024 (Annexure P-1) passed by the learned Assistant Collector, 1st Grade, Naraingarh, during the pendency of the statutory revision petition dated 25.05.2026 (Annexure P-6) under Section 13-B of the Haryana Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961 before the learned Commissioner, Ambala Division, Ambala. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have assailed the order dated 29.04.

2026 passed by the learned District Collector, Ambala by way of filing a revision petition before the Commissioner, Ambala Division, Ambala alongwith stay application. He contends that the stay application has been declined on 26.05.2026 and the main case has been adjourned to 14.07.2026. It is further contended that till date, the order passed on the stay application declining the relief of stay has not been uploaded and warrants of possession have already been issued. He SMRITI 2026.06.

CWP-18818-2026 -2further submits that in a such situation, the main case filed by the petitioners and pending adjudication before the Commissioner would be rendered infructuous.

The status quo would be maintained till 14.07.2026. Petition is disposed of in above said terms.
