Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant the petitioner full pension which is not being paid on frivolous objections having been raised in letter dated 14.10.2004 (Annexure P1).

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner is, otherwise, entitled for full pension as he had already put in 22 years of service. However, his claim of full pension has been rejected on the ground that petitioner had availed extraordinary leave, though the same was sanctioned by the competent authority and was for a short duration only. Learned counsel further contended that petitioner has already got issued legal notice dated 04.05.2017 (Annexure P3), but the same has not been decided so far.
