(ORAL ) The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, with a prayer for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to provide adequate protection to the petitioners who are newly married couple and are apprehending danger to their life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.4 and 5. Notice of motion was issued by this Court on 11.12.2020 and reply by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Hathin, District Palwal, has been filed in which it is stated that the police of Police Station Bahin called the petitioners, father of petitioner No.1 and respondent RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2021.02.12 12:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-9962-2020 (O&M) Nos.4 and 5 and recorded their separate statements on 5.12.2020 and the petitioners stated that now there is no danger to their life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.4 and 5 and there is no need for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that in view of the statements recorded before the police, no cause of action survives in the present petition and the same be disposed of accordingly. In view of above, the present petition is disposed of as not pressed.
