The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for setting aside the seniority list dated 19.07.2013 (Annexure P-3) to the extent that the petitioner has been shown to be junior than that of respondent Nos. 3 to 5. 2.

Learned counsel while referring to para No. 2 of the reply dated 14.07.2017 submits that the present petition can be disposed of, as the petitioner stands promoted w.e.f 28.04.2007 and it was in continuance of order dated 19.04.2006 (Annexure P-2), meaning thereby that the orders would take effect from the retrospective date i.e 19.04.2006, which satisfies petitioner 5.
