***** JASPAL SINGH, J (ORAL) By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the arrears of revised pay scale for the period 01.01.1996 to 31.03.1999 along with 18% interest, as has been paid to the similarly situated persons vide order dated 20.08.2014 passed in CWP No.16593-2014 (Annexure P-10).

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though various representations were moved including latest representation dated 07.07.2017 (Annexure P-11) but till date no conscious decision has been taken. She further submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.3 to decide latest representation, within a stipulated period.

Instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3DPI (Colleges), Punjab, Chandigarh to consider the case as unfolded by the petitioner in his latest representation dated 07.07.2017 (Annexure P-11) and take a conscious decision, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
