***** JASPAL SINGH, J (ORAL) By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to revise/re-fix the pay/pension/pensionary benefits by taking into consideration two special increments with all consequential reliefs in view of order dated 16.07.2014 passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court in case titled as "State of Punjab and ors. v. Tarlok Chand, Civil Appeal No. 6540 of 2014 (Annexure P-4) and also refund/release the amount of Rs.46157/- of alleged recovery made from his leave encashment along with interest @ 12% p.a. w.e.f the due date till its actual payment in view of Tarlok Chand's case (supra) read with judgment passed in CWP-5568-2008, Charan Dass v. State of Punjab (Annexure P-3) and release all the consequential/monetary benefits.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent(s) to decide legal notice dated 13.01.2017 (Annexure P-5), within a stipulated period.

Instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent(s) to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in his legal notice dated 13.01.2017 (Annexure P-5) and take a conscious decision, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. In case, the recommendation made by respondent No.2 is accepted by the office of respondent No.4, to release the benefits on the basis thereof within a period of next two months.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by any of the respondents, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
