1. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural to look into the matter and to ensure that the matter pertaining to FIR No.157, dated 22.12.2023 registered at Police Station Raja Sansi, District Amritsar under Sections 279, 337, 338, 427, 323, 325, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code, is got investigated fairly and expeditiously in accordance with law, so that a final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. is submitted thereafter at the earliest.

2. In case, the petitioner has any apprehension as regards his security, it shall be open to him to move an appropriate application to respondent No. 2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural.

3. In case, any such application is filed, the same shall be got examined in accordance with law.
