The petitioner has filed the present petition with a prayer to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus with a prayer to issue directions to the respondents to immediately release her husband, namely, Ishwar Singh, who was in the illegal custody of respondent No.3. 2.

In compliance of the order dated 1st June 2026, passed by this Court, a warrant officer was appointed by this Court, who has also submitted his report in a sealed cover. The sealed cover was opened and the report of the warrant officer is taken on record. As per the warrant officer, the alleged detenue, Ishwar Singh, had been arrested on 30th May 2026 in a case FIR No. 604 dated 12.11.2025 under Section 305 of BNS Police Station, City Hisar.

Even, the learned State counsel has filed a short reply by way of affidavit of the DSP Women Safety, District Hisar, which is also taken on record.

Learned State counsel also submits that the husband of the petitioner, alleged denenue, namely, Ishwar Singh, has been arrested by the police in a criminal case after following the due process of law. 5.

In view of the aforesaid developments, no further orders are required to be passed and since Ishwar Singh is not in illegal custody, the present petition is ordered to be dismissed.
