KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Case has been heard through video conferencing on account of COVID-19 Pandemic.

The counsel for the petitioner submitted that Jaspreet Kaur, niece of the petitioner, is major and while appearing before the respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, she showed unwillingness to live with her parents and the petitioner. The counsel for the petitioner further submitted that as per his knowledge, now Jaspreet Kaur has performed marriage with respondent No.4-Arjun Kumar of her own free will on 18.11.2020. The counsel for the petitioner made further prayer that the petition be disposed of having rendered infructuous. Accordingly, this petition is hereby dismissed having become infructuous.
