This is a Civil Writ Petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondents to take action against the unauthorized possession/encroachment of respondent No.5 over Gram Panchayat land in accordance with law and to ensure equal treatment of all encroachers.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since under Section 7 of the Haryana Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961, even inhabitants can file an ejectment application thus, he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to file any such application in accordance with law. In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
