***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 4 for taking appropriate legal action on pending representations dated 15.12.2014 & 27.03.2014 (Annexures P-1 & P-2), respectively.

My learned Sister Ritu Bahri, J. (earlier seized of the matter) passed the following order dated 05.07.2018:- "Respondent No. 5-the Principal of the Government Middle School, Padana, Tehsil and District Jind is present in Court today and he states that he will forward the application of the petitioner to the District Education Officer for transfer to some other school in the same district.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the petitioner is transferred as per his request, he would forego his seniority.

Learned counsel for the State seeks time to get instructions in this regard.

List on 12.10.2018.

In the meantime, personal appearance of respondent No. 5 is exempted."

Apropos, learned State counsel has tendered copy of an office order dated 12.09.2018 (copy of which is taken on record and marked as Annexure 'A'), pursuant to which petitioner has been transferred to Government Senior secondary School, Nidani (Jind) as per his request. 4.

Petition is, therefore, rendered infructuous and disposed of, accordingly.
