(Oral) [1] This petition has been filed by the petitioner-Society raising, inter-alia, claims against the respondent-Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) of having delayed the letter of allotment, possession & conveyance deed and of having been meted out discriminatory treatment at the hands of the respondents. [2] These allegations have been disputed in the written statement.

[3] Today both the learned senior counsel(s) very fairly accepted the proposal of the Court that the matter be referred to the arbitration under Clause 18 of the Scheme. CWP No.28634 of 2017 [2] No.36, Sector-4, Chandigarh be appointed as Arbitrator. [4] We order accordingly.

[5] The petitioner-Society has further requested that since it represents the Bar Association of this Court, a concessional fee be fixed for the arbitration.

[6] We are sure that if the parties make such request, the learned Arbitrator would consider the same before fixing his fees. [7] Parties, through counsel, are directed to appear before the Arbitrator on 08.03.2020 or 14.03.2020 after obtaining the consent of the Arbitrator.

[8] It has further been agreed that entire dispute is documentary and both the learned senior counsel(s) are agreed that their clients will complete the pleadings within a period of one month of the first date fixed by the Arbitrator and would subsequently conclude their respective evidence within a period of one month each, to facilitate the Arbitrator to pass the award within the time prescribed in the Statute.

[9] Disposed of accordingly.

[10] Since the petition is disposed of, the pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
