&&&&& ( ' )+ , -./ The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to take action as per law on the representation dated 17.07.2020 submitted by the petitioner and to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from danger at the hands of respondents No.4 and 5 and their associates.

Since there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the matters pertains to the year 2020, there is no reason as to why the matter should be deferred any further.

Consequently, Mr. Manas Bhatia, Advocate, PH/6203/2025, Mobile No. 9728785344, who is present in Court is appointed as Legal Aid Counsel to assist this Court on behalf of the petitioner. He has gone through the paper book of the learned State Counsel.

Learned State Counsel submits that the present petition had been filed by the petitioner for seeking directions to the official respondents to take action as per law on the representation dated 17.07.2020 bearing UID No. 1839265 and dated 27.10.2020 bearing UID No. 1908188 submitted by the petitioner and pending with the Station House Officer, Police Station Ladowal, District Ludhiana.

The legal Aid Counsel contends that the petitioner is a Labourer working in a factory and has two children i.e. Navdeep Singh and Pardeep Singh. Pardeep Singh did his diploma in Electrical in the year 2012 and thereafter, worked with the Private Electricity Feeding Contractor. He expired on 05.06.2020 due to negligence of the private respondents while working as CHB worker at Hambran Sub Station. On account of the said lapses, a complaint was submitted by the petitioner to the respondentauthorities, however, no action was taken, thus, the present petition has been filed.

Learned State Counsel, however, submits that the prayer made in the present petition was for taking a lawful decision on the pending representations. He submits on instructions from HC Hardip Singh that the said representations have already been decided and consequent upon the charge sheet having been filed, the accused persons stand acquitted vide
$0$01#0"" ' judgment dated 07.05.2024 by the Court of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ludhiana.

Learned Legal Aid Counsel does not dispute that in view of the aforesaid instructions and the final proceedings having already culminated in an acquittal, the grievance espoused in the present petition would not survive any further.
