The petitioners have approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.98 dated 19.7.2020 at Police Station Moonak, District Sangrur under Sections 353, 186 and 427 of Indian Penal Code.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion the following order was passed on 2.12.2020:

" Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that none of the petitioner is named in the FIR and that it was only in a PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.03.18 18:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-39979-2020 (O&M) supplementary statement made by the complainant that the petitioners have been named therein.

Notice of motion for 18.3.2021.

Meanwhile, in the event of arrest, the petitioners be released on interim bail subject to their furnishing personal bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioners shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C."

The learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Mithu Ram, has informed that pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court, the petitioners have since joined investigation and that their custodial interrogation is not required.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 2.12.2020 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioners shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438

(2) Cr.P.C.
