Present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 to 6 to protect the life, liberty, and property of the petitioner at the hands of respondent No. 11-Manavinder Singh. Petitioner has also sought quashing of impugned Letter No. 2026/C.B./C3/1373-76 dated 15.05.2026 (Annexure P-10), issued by the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Fazilka, whereby a committee has been constituted for auditing the funds of the Trust. Said action is alleged to be illegal, arbitrary, unjust, and unconstitutional, and is therefore liable to be set aside.

It is not disputed that a civil dispute concerning the Trust is already pending before the competent Civil Court between the brothers, namely, petitioner-Madhvinder Singh, and respondent No. 11Manavinder Singh. RASHMI 2026.06.05 16:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to avail alternative remedies in accordance with law.
