The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking a direction to the respondents to decide the representation filed by him seeking removal of illegal encroachment on the shamlat land.

There being effective alternative remedy available to the petitioner under the provisions of Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961 (as applicable to State of Haryana), we relegate him to avail this alternative remedy.
