(ORAL) This is a petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a direction to official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners by providing adequate protection to the petitioners and also directing the private respondents not to interfere in the personal life and liberty of the petitioners.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition on the ground that owing to changed circumstances after its filing, the threat perception which existed at the time of filing of the petition no longer survives. 3.

Prayer is accepted. The petition is dismissed as having been withdrawn.
